This is description

Kevin spent 0 on a 1948 Farmall Cub from the auction’s nonrunning row, and it doesn’t take long to start finding problems. A welded block, mismatched spark plugs, questionable repairs, and a stubborn carburetor turn this little tractor into a much bigger project than we hoped.

We clean out the fuel tank, replace ignition parts, sort out the magneto kill switch, and recruit the golf cart for a few pull starts. Every time we make progress, this old Farmall gives us something else to investigate. Will we get it running well enough for its next owner?

There’s a special reason behind this project. We’re donating this Cub and our running Farmall H to the silent auction at Hunter’s memorial benefit. Hunter was the last person to run the H, pulling the roller around our go-kart track.
